What does the evaporator fan do?
The evaporator is the coil where the cold is made. Viking’s service manual for its built-in side-by-sides describes the fan pulling air over that coil and sending it round the unit. When the motor stops, the coil stays cold but the air around it goes still, and the side that relies on moving air loses temperature first.
Why does ice matter to the price?
